PROVERE – Alentejo Litoral e Costa Vicentina

The project consisted of developing a training program aimed at the populations of Alentejo Coast and Vicentine Coast, in order to prepare local stakeholders, directly and indirectly related to tourism, to contribute to the development of tourism in the intervention area, while simultaneously capitalizing on the added value of the process itself.

This monetization includes filling the jobs created by tourism promoters, but above all the self-creation of jobs and the valorization of existing businesses, with an attitude of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The main objective was to qualify human resources in southwest Portugal (Alentejo Coast and Vicentine Coast) directly and indirectly related to tourism, in order to contribute to the construction of skills profiles that allow the population of the intervention area to correctly perform their role as hosts, while simultaneously capitalizing on the added value of the tourism development process.
